Hello, hiver!

Set on the Baltic Sea coast close to Rostock, Warnemün is a little hamlet. Its structure seems right from a fairy tale; it is rather remarkable. Given the continuous flow of people surely drawn by the beach, notwithstanding its frigid seas, it seems to me that tourism has a major part there.

I will present some of these structures with their slanted roofs intended to enable rain and snow to flow off in the images I have posted. More contemporary structures will also be seen, which will enhance the architectural variety. The cobblestone roads evoke stepping back in time.

¡Hola, hiver!

Situado en la costa del mar Báltico, cerca de Rostock, Warnemün es un pequeño pueblo. Su estructura parece sacada de un cuento de hadas; es realmente singular. Dado el flujo constante de gente, seguramente atraída por la playa, a pesar de sus aguas gélidas, me parece que el turismo tiene un papel fundamental allí.

En las imágenes que he publicado, les mostraré algunas de estas construcciones con sus tejados inclinados, diseñados para que la lluvia y la nieve escurran. También verán construcciones más contemporáneas, que enriquecerán la variedad arquitectónica. Las calles empedradas evocan un viaje al pasado.
