Gracious Day to people of God. Prayer is every christian arm of war. Therefore we are expected to know how to pray unto our father so our prayers will be answered
Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
PROPER WAYS TO PRAY UNTO GOD
Don't be anxious: Philippians 4:6 encourages us to pray without anxiety. This means we should come to God with a calm and peaceful heart, trusting in His sovereignty.
Pray with thanksgiving: Verse 6 also emphasizes the importance of thanksgiving in our prayers. This helps us focus on God's goodness and provision, rather than just our needs.
Present your requests: We're instructed to present our requests to God, but not just in a casual or superficial way. We should come to Him with reverence, humility, and faith.
- Faith is essential: Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that faith is a non-negotiable aspect of pleasing God. When we pray, we must believe that God exists, that He rewards those who seek Him, and that He's able to answer our prayers.
- Seek Him earnestly: earnestly seek in Hebrews 11:6 implies a sincere, wholehearted, and persistent pursuit of God. Our prayers should be characterized by a deep longing to connect with Him and experience His presence.
