Is this another crypto kittens all over again?
So early today cointelegraph had an article that caught my eye. It starts with want a private army of your own. So I gave it a quick look over. Sounds like another collect this, evolve that and here is a pvp system for fighting. While its nothing amazing, I still feel like people are willing to throw a few ether into the game just to test the waters a bit. If you have ether to pay around with, why not. So here a break down of the game.
To start the game, you need to buy a Warrior. The Warriors are sold at the Marketplace by the platform and by other players. The platform generates new Warriors every 15 minutes. The Warriors generated by the platform come with a special Soul Hunter bonus that reduces the Warrior’s resting time and enhances the chance of receiving a rarer Warrior when mining. I saw the cheapest warriors in the game was about 0.05 ether(plus the network fees).
When you get a warrior you can have that warrior summon another one at the cost of 0.01 ether(plus network fees).
When your warrior is summoning another warrior he or she is unable to be sold or fight until the ritual is completed.
So the warriors generated by the marketplace has a special ability called Soul Hunter Ability which reduces the resting time by 4x and increase your chances of getting a rarer warrior by 4x. Also this is kinda of important your warriors can only summon another warrior at level 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, or 25 and you can only summon once per these level requirements. The new warrior you summon needs to rest before he or she can do anything.
Fighting in this game, you need to bet 0.01 ETH * Warrior’s level.
What does the winner get?
- 80% of the prize (20% go to the Tournament Bank)
- 100 EXP = level up
- 130 rating points
What happens if I lose?
- 50 EXP = 0.5 level up
- 100 rating points if your Warrior levels up
-30 rating points
How is my opponent chosen?
The Warriors that are sent to fight at the Arena are matched according to their rating.
How long does it take?
Matching the Warriors takes approximately 15 minutes.
Depending on the network and the number of Warriors assigned for fighting, it might take longer.
Warriors don’t need to rest after the fight.
So just for fun, I used a little ether to test out the game.
- Buy warrior 0.05 +network fees. (cheapest one I can find)
-Have warrior summon another warrior cost 0.01 + network fees(take about 15 minutes)
-To receive new warrior I had to pay 0 ether but still had to pay network fees. My new warrior needs 11 hour before I can use him.
I'll do more testing and let you guys and gals know how it goes.
