This is me...

Hello world, my name is Cal Wood. I was born on the 5th June 2001, which will make me 16 in a little over 5 months and I attend Cyber School South Africa.

I was born in Cape Town, and lived here all my life. Personally, I think Cape Town is one of the best places to stay because we've got Table Mountain, many beaches and the best weather ever.

I live with my parents, and my brother. My father (Kevin)was born in Durban and is currently employed at Old Mutual and works in Balance Sheet Management. My mother (Loretta) is a housewife and she comes from Port Elizabeth, and my brother, who is 9 years older than me, (Jamie) is a mechanic. As with many boys, our love for cars is unparalleled. So now you know what my future posts are most likely going to be about, unless its for school.

My dream car is the Nissan GT-R. Seeing one is probably as far as I will get with one of those, but maybe one day, Ill have the privilege of getting behind the wheel.

I have many hobbies, and one of them is the Rubiks Cube. I learned how to complete the 3x3 (the normal one) when I was 12, and ever since then I have been obsessed with them and the challenges that they give me. I now own a couple of them, which includes the Mirror Cube (which is a shape-shifting cube), a 5x5 and a megaminx (this isn't a cube, its a dodecahedron). I am very fond of gaming, especially motorsports.

Something that I really enjoy is learning new things, especially with regards to cars. Anything from the fastest laps around the Nurburgring, to why the rotary motor is out of production (which I really want back). I also enjoy reading, but I would much rather stick to non-fiction.

I am a very athletic person. I love playing soccer, and cricket, which are my 2 favorite sports.

I also love music, especially Hip-hop, and deep house, But I am more interested in old-school rap, back when you could actually make out what the artists were saying. I enjoy listening to groups like Brand Nubian, A Tribe Called Quest, and The Sugarhill Gang.

So yeah, This is me
