Hello everyone, how are you? As for me, I am fine. I am busy with house construction and shop decoration these days.
My wife and I have planned to open a small coffee shop in the village. After being busy with house construction for many days, I went to request electricity from the Trang Provincial Electricity Authority. Today, the Electricity Authority installed a digital meter for me. I am able to use electricity now. Before this, I connected electricity from my neighbors to use electrical equipment for construction. In addition, I have been busy cleaning the walls, which are old walls that are several years old. This is an old house that needs a lot of renovation.

Yesterday, I went to the water supply, which took almost the whole day. I only went to some important points. I went to the important points, using blue pipes to run inside the house and outside the house, only the important points first because I need water to mix cement and do construction. Pariya and I do it together, just the two of us. We do it continuously, designing and doing whatever we like. For example, the doors and windows in this house, if I can’t do it, I’ll hire a technician. Before I can finish the water supply, I have to go to 3 construction shops because the equipment in each shop is different. Some equipment is available, some are missing in each shop, so I have to run around to buy the equipment. It takes about half a day to drive.

Yesterday I continued with my aunt and only finished some spots. Today in the afternoon, my wife and I went to the market to buy tiles to lay the bathroom floor. I bought 7 boxes of tiles, 2 boxes of counter tiles and 1 box of wall tiles to test the installation. I didn't dare buy a lot because this was my first time installing floor tiles.
I think if you guys look at the pictures, look at the pictures in my post, you guys will see the atmosphere inside this old house and the bathroom. I started by soaking the tiles I bought in water to make them set. The salesperson recommended that before using the tiles, soak the tiles in water. When I got home, I did as he said, soaking the tiles in a basin of water. Then I started the operation by mixing the cement, which is adhesive cement that I bought from a tile shop as well. When he finished plastering, I measured the area and tried laying the tiles.

After testing, there are some parts that need to be fixed and used techniques. The part that needs to use techniques is the toilet bowl area, which I don't want to use small cut tiles. I think I should use a single tile and drill a hole to put in the toilet bowl. I think I can do it. So I took the tile and used a tile cutting tool to make a hole as shown in the picture. It was quite difficult for me because this was the first time and many challenges. It made me hot and tense all over. Sweat covered my face. And then the challenge was over. I did it. I drilled the tile and placed the tile in the mold perfectly.

Light black and white tiles are non-slip bathroom tiles. I think I will make a black and white coffee shop, minimalist style. Keep trying. But today is my first time laying tiles, as I said, which is a bit tense. I think laying the floor makes me feel that what the technician said and what I did are completely different. Because the cement I bought, there were quite a lot of construction materials that I bought, plus the cement, which may not be right. I used more cement than the technician said because I was afraid that the floor would not be smooth and the walls would not be smooth as well.

I tried to cut many tiles according to the measurements. I spent an hour installing the tiles today.
If you compare it to selling things,
I kept cutting and installing the tiles using cement glue as a bond. Finally, it was finished. But I finished the inside of the bathroom first. I think I will continue tomorrow in front of the bathroom.
Then I will update the construction and renovate this house for my friends to see again.
For today, I will say goodbye.
