A day filled with adventure, a day filled with beautiful memories, a day filled with fresh moments from the Himalayas, and that was a day. I would call a day, my friends hair in this beautiful magical Wonderland. Starting this day out, sharing these moments from the late summers, when I was on my expedition, exploring the Ladakh region of the Himalayas. The lands I would say to the extreme Himalayas, the high altitude and beyond the cold himalayan desert, also closer to the ancient Tibet now the part of China, the lake also sharing between the two nations as half of the portion in India and half of the portion in China. It was really a beautiful adventure that I had on when I was at this place in this post, I’m gonna take you guys along with me to this journey and share this beautiful moments from the heart of the Himalayas.
The place it was just for a moment. It felt like I was dreaming, but truly, I was not. It was the beautiful, magical whole lot of a different experience that I had on when I was at this place with this beautiful landscape, so beautiful that even it was hard to believe with my own eyes, the lake they just felt like the sea and the mountains that just felt like the top of the world and the snow that just felt like being somewhere at the top of the whole world. It was just a place with everything in just a single frame all of the elements of nature in just a single beautiful magical place.
The journey kind of looked something just like this as it took us near about five hours. All the way from leg town to Pangong Lake, even had to stay in between somewhere as I was not quite familiar with the places, but truly somewhere near about 3:30 PM, we made it all the way to the beautiful magical lake.
Usually, the places covered with the thick sheet of snow and it was only the time throughout the year when this place seems as dry as it seems like and truly my friend, the whole experience beyond my words, I could clearly hear the beautiful sound of the lake and the water, it was freezing cold, even in the peak summertime when I visited the place and somewhere even around 3:30 PM, it felt like that it was the time of the sunset and with these beautiful clouds in the sky and the blue sky and the sun that was just going behind the mountains which we had a few hours of the daylight, so we decided to just wonder around as the lake. It was quite huge. It literally felt like a sea quite a lot in length number.
We could see the reflection of these beautiful mountains, and the water acted as a blue mirror, and we could feel the water just coming like the shows and felt like beach in the mountains.
There was countless number of corners around the place that we could explore and wonder around not sure about where I was just wondering around over and over exploring different perspective of the lake that literally felt like visiting a whole lot of different place and that two only from being on the side and on the other corner, not on the other side, I would clearly say like to go offshore, but just somewhere before and at the end back-and-forth, that was what we were doing, the air felt so fresh, the sound and everything it just felt so peaceful, and I decided why not to share these moments with you guys, so I tried capturing as many photographs as I could all the way my journey and now sharing it with you guys.
Looking at the sky, it felt like we could see these beautiful clouds just floating like in the sky, just like a bird slowly, but just forming different pattern. I just said by the side of the lake. Relax for a while and capture these photographs and enjoy the whole moment. It felt like that myself was a part of nature when I was surrounded by this much peaceful elements of the nature.
The shores, the sound that the water was making going back-and-forth just like a sea, but the water it was just so clear that we could clearly see by the side of the lake and it felt like as there was a bit of a sunlight as the water was shimmering just like the crystals.
The mountains just light behind the lake filled the top of it and covered in a thick sheet of snow. At the top of these mountain ranges, the mountain ranges of the corner of the Himalayas. I would say the whole landscape. It felt so unreal, even the words can’t express my friends, truly, it had been near about 3 to 4 hours that we were just wondering around the place, and didn’t even felt like that. It had been that much time that we were just wondering around.
The Evening Time.
It didn’t even felt like that it was the evening time went to back to the tents where our stay was just by the side of the lake today, somewhere near about few kilometres from the shore.
The whole sky just turned into a magical moment with these beautiful lights in the sky and the temperature. It just felt like nothing, but it went all the way to 0°C, even in the summer time and in the winter time, temperature and the whole lake is just frozen that even visiting the lake is really very difficult.
