Today,i will like to share with you all the lessons i learnt from Bro Eli's message on the topic:
How should a Christian woman live her life?
I had listened to this message and indeed it's a blessing,if you are a woman it's really awesome to listen to it and probably if you have a sister,female friends,and female relatives it will be a great for them to listen to this awesome message.
1 Corinthians 7 : 32-35
[32] But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: [33] But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. [34] There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. [35] And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
There is a huge difference between a woman who is married and a woman who is single.
Their priorities are different from each other
And the above scriptures stated that the marrried one careth for the things that are of this world
The things which is to please their spouses.
Whereas,the single ones have limited distraction by the worldly things, seeking how to please the Lord.
And from this message it is advisable that it is good for single women who are not yet married to channel their focus on God
- living a good life which will pleased the lord
- Focusing their attention on God's word
Being single is not a crime, a woman can make the best out of her single life by serving the lord wholeheartedly.
In the scriptures,Jesus wasn't married yet he fulfilled his destiny and his purpose on earth,he was able to create great impact physically, spiritually and all round.
The same thing with the life of paul the Apostle is also an example.
Hence the best duty for a woman is to care for the things of the lord and to care for others.
In so doing,God will be pleased.
Please let's encourage every woman that is around us to live peacefully with others ,by caring for them as Christ cares for his church.
