Hello everyone and happy Monday to all
@needleworkmonday community.
It's always a beautiful thing to be here and i feel happier when ever i get to participate in this community.

It's a great community were alot can learn.i have learnt alot here and an really grateful.
Today,i want to share with you all the dress i made for my baby girl.
It was a left over Ankara fabric and i decided to used it effectively.
The materials i used were really simple and usual
- A sewing machine
- black thread
- black zip
- black lace fabric
- black bais
- black lining
The first step i took was to take her half-length measurements, since i wanted to make a gathers gown for her
After that,i cut it out ,i cut out the lining also
Then for the front part i wanted to create a little style
So i got a black lace and cut out a part of it.
I created a style with it,i attached it to the front side

The next step i took was to sew the neck neatly,so i used black bias on it and sewed for it to be neat.
I had to create rope for the dress so that it can be comfortable for her to wear.

The i joined it to the dress and i was through with the upper part of the dress

The next step was for the down part of the dress i make gathers on it

After that i joined it up with the top part and sewed
When i was through with it,i put zip on it.

Finally my baby's garher dress was ready.
Am grateful that i finally made something new for her.
It was a bit stressful for me because she was really disturbing doing the process so i jad to attend to her has i kept on sewing,i spent 5hour and some minute.
But i guess it was worth it.
THANK YOU FOR GOING THROUGH MY POST.
