I saved a bird after an accident.

Hello friends, today I have a story about animals to tell you. Yesterday morning I was doing my duties in the bathroom and heard a sound like something hitting the glass. I thought to myself that it must be a bird because birds often hit the glass of my house. There were both small and large birds. Some were bitten and eaten by cats. Before this, I had helped an owl once. Yesterday, there was another one. After I came out of the bathroom, I quickly walked to the front of the house to see what hit the glass. I found a bird similar to a cuckoo lying on the floor. My cat in front of the house was staring at it.

So I quickly picked it up. It moved and resisted as if it was afraid that it might be in danger. I intended to take it to perch on a branch and let it fly away. But then I thought of something and took a picture of it with my phone before releasing it. I also searched for it on Google because cuckoos are only black. But this bird has a gray neck. So I knew it was a bird. It has a large beak. Its beak is dark green. The skin around its eyes is red and it has white feathers all around. Its head is light gray. Its wings and back are brown with a green sheen. The lower body is gray with small black lines. The tail is very long, with a little white at the tip. I went to listen to its song on YouTube. Its song is very beautiful. The information says that its habitat is in the area of evergreen forests, deciduous forests, forest edges or orchards on the plains up to 1,600 meters high. It is distributed in the Himalayas of southern China, Hainan Island, Southeast Asia and Sumatra. Its food includes worms and insects such as stick insects, leaf insects, cicadas, etc. It also eats reptiles such as lizards and small mammals. It finds food by jumping on branches and treetops. When it finds prey, it uses its mouth to peck and eat. If the prey is large, it may use its mouth to bite the prey until it dies. Then it pecks and tears the prey to eat piece by piece.

The Great Hornbill breeds during the summer to rainy season between April and August, which varies from area to area. It makes nests in the tops of trees or bamboo, which are about 3-7 meters above the ground.
I think there are many large trees next to my house because the owner planted them as a forest, so animals come to live and find food to eat. Because the forest is quite complete, there are people who take care of it and water it regularly, so it should have something to do with it flying to find food around here. So it flew into my house.
Thank you to all my friends who have supported me.
