The Red Cross Fair Experience: More Than Just a Festival.

Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I last wrote a
post because I've been busy with
my family's business and haven't
had much time to travel.
But today I'm finally back to introduce
one of Bangkok's highlight events that takes place -
the Red Cross Fair!

The Thai Red Cross Fair is a big
annual charity event organized by
the Thai Red Cross Society.

It started many years ago as a way to
raise money to help people affected
by war, and over time it grew into a
major fundraising event to support
disaster relief, healthcare services,
blood donation programs, and
assistance for people in need.

There are:
food stalls, charity raffle booths,
games, live performances , and
assistance for people in need.
These days, the fair is usually held
in Bangkok, often at Lumphini Park.

It's not just about fundraising - it
feels a lot like a festival. There are
food stalls, charity raffle booths,
games, live performances, and
exhibitions where people can learn
more about health and emergency aid.

Overall, the Red Cross Fair is a fun
and lively event, but its main goal is
to bring people together to support
meaningful humanitarian work.

One of the main highlights is the
famous charity raffle booths.
Visitors can buy raffle tickets for a
chance to win big prizes, from
household appliances to special
grand prizes. It's always fun to see
the long lines of people hoping to
test their luck while contributing to
a good cause.

At Red Cross fairs, people drink rich,
intensely mixed cocoa beverages with
a strong malt and chocolate aroma.
They are packed with ice,
making them extra refreshing.
Extra Milo powder is sprinkled on
top without fully dissolving, creating
a slightly crunchy texture and a
stronger flavor toward the end.
They are affordable and served in
generous portions.

In addition to the popular food and
drink stalls, the fair also features a
wide variety of shops and activity
booths that create a lively and
welcoming atmosphere for visitors
of all ages. Many vendors set up
stalls selling local products,
handmade crafts, clothes,
souvenirs, and traditional snacks,
allowing guests to enjoy shopping
while exploring the event.

One of the highlights is the
traditional Thai massage booth,
where visitors can relax and
unwind. Skilled therapists provide
gentle yet effective massages that
help relieve muscle tension and
reduce stress. It offers a perfect
opportunity to take a break from
walking around the fair and enjoy a
moment of comfort and relaxation.

For families, there is a special
corner dedicated to children. This
area includes coloring stations
where kids can express their
creativity through art, as well as
small rides and fun playground
equipment that keeps them
entertained. The children's zone is
full of laughter and joy, making the
event enjoyable not only for adults
but also for young visitors.

It is one of the most
anticipated public events of the
year, attracting large numbers of
visitors from across the country.
The fair is typically held toward the
end of the year, around November to
December, and usually runs for
approximately 10-12 days. The
event is open daily from 11:00 a.m.
to 10:00 p.m., allowing visitors
plenty of time to explore and
experience the vibrant atmosphere.

See you on the next trip!😘
