War, hunger, and suffering are heavy problems in our world. War ruins lives and homes. It forces people to leave their land. When fighting starts, farms are destroyed and work stops. Food becomes hard to find. A lot of people become hungry and afraid to go in search of food. War and starvation occur because some people are hungry for power, hate also contributes a lot.
“For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in.” (Matthew 25:35)
The bible teaches us to care and love one another. The God we serve is a peaceful God. The bible teaches us to help the poor and those who are hungry. When Jesus was on earth, he showed love to those who are weak and hungry. Jesus taught us to love others even when it is difficult to do so.
