Space is the most mysterious place of life where scientist/man with various gadgets like: rockets, spaceships, and others have visited. Life outside the earth is all many humans think about. Therefore, man has over time, been able to construct favorable materials or facilities for good for their use. Some of these facilities are quite helpful and beneficial to humans. Some others have been hazardous to man. Of concern here today is the space out of earth. For example, three (3) of the known planets are now visible at night on earth according to reports from #NASA. The dwarf planets or the ninth planets as called by scientist is ten (10) times the mass of the earth.

** TERRESTIAL PLANETS**
This comprises four plants with rocky/hard surface like the earth. These planets have topological features like valleys, volcanoes and craters. The planets include:
#MERCURY. This planet is the smallest among the terrestrial planet in the solar system and it is about a third of the size of the earth. It is covered by a thin layer of silicates. It cannot host life because of its proximity to the sun. Also, because of its thin atmosphere, climatic conditions swing from burning and freezing in mercury.

#VENUS. Here, few spacecraft have entered the thick toxic carbon monoxide dominated atmosphere of this planet. Only large meteors can make it. Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system.

#EARTH. This is the biggest of the four terrestrial planets in the solar system. It houses a large mass of water space which is necessary for life and continuity of the human race. The earth is present with rocky surface with metallic core and moderate temperature. There is also the presence of season which is dictated by closeness to the equator or to the pole

#MARS. The Earth is denser than the Mars. Scientists who have traveled the space record no evidence of life in this planet yet there seem to be the presence of methane which is supposedly produced by living and non-living processes. Mars on the other hand has the highest presence of mountain in the entire solar system.

#NASA space observatory have suspected and confirmed more than a thousand alien planets since 2015.

9. PLUTO (dwarf planet) named after Roman god of the underworld, Hades. Discovered in 1930 by CLYDE TOMBAUGH.
8. NEPTUNE Named after the Roman god of water. Discovered in 1846 a team of French astronomers led by ALEXIS BOUVARD.
7. URANUS named after the personification of heaven in ancient myth. Discovered by WILLIAM HERESCHEL in 1781.
