My 3speaking Today
Hey, what's up, players! Welcome to my 3speak channel and this retrogaming post : ) . So here’s the story: yesterday, while cleaning out and reorganizing a storage room at home, I stumbled upon an old Android phone I hadn’t used in ages, and on it I found an old Game Boy Color ROM and save file for Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land—the first game in the Mario Bros. universe where we can play as our beloved antihero ‘Wario’ —who, I should mention, is my favorite character in the Mario universe. This inspired me to continue Wario’s story, so I’ve decided to embark on this new adventure, Warioland II, to learn more about this colorful and very ambitious character.
This first gameplay video starts with a long but super entertaining intro showing us how the 'Black Sugar Pirates'—Wario's sworn enemies—sneak into his castle and begin a campaign of theft and sabotage against his little empire, ha ha : D . The first thing they do is set up shop in the castle to steal the riches accumulated by our favorite antihero, setting off an annoying alarm and turning on a massive faucet that threatens to flood the place.
Also, our first mission was to turn off that annoying alarm that never stops ringing as we take our first steps through Wario’s Castle. After collecting as many coins as possible and defeating numerous enemies, we finally managed to turn it off. Well, that’s all for now.
