How are you all? Hopefully you all are doing well and good. I am also good. Today in this blog I am going to share with you all a type of purse which we used to say potli purse in our language. So there was wedding of my relative so they have invited our family to go there. So I am a type of girl who is always ready to go on weddings to go on functions to go on different different occasions. So as soon I got the invitation I was thinking what to wear on the wedding. So I open my suitcases and I put all of the clothes on the floor and I check all the clothes which I can wear on that wedding and I got a beautiful black dress. So I was thinking to go with simple dress but the dupatta should be very fancy and shoes should be fancy and the purse should be fancy. So I had to duppata and shoes but I didn't have purse. So an idea came into my mind to make the purse by myself. So I opened the materials which I had at home and by the grace of God I got a piece of black and silver colour material which was so much shining so I thought to make the purse out of that material. And I decided to go with small purse. And potli bag is one of the best option of small bags. So I was excited before stitching it and I was nervous too.
So it's time to start the procedure so let start it.
I have taken the material of 15 inches length and 9 inches width of that material. And we have to cut that from the bottom in a circular shape in a kind of shape of like a bag.
And the material which I have use for the inside is called parachute material it's very comfortable and also it is waterproof as well. Mostly we are using the type of material for making the raincoats or using in the bag so that is the material which is very good for this bag as well.
Have to cut the circular shape into two and have to keep that shining black on the parachute material and have to cut the passion material as well.
Then for the strips I have taken the material of 12 inches length and 3 inches width.
Then in the opposite side I have folded that and stitched it.
With the help of safety pin I have opened that part and got the shining part in the front.
For the shining part we have to stitch one line side from the bottom.
Same we have to do for the other parachute material as well.
Then parachute material and the shining material we have to stitch both in one side and a parachute material have to go inside the shining material. And there should be keeping a whole inside that to open that.
And we have to pass the type of strip inside the purse and we have to attach some loops also.
At last I have attached the holding strip or we can say holding belt at the top of the purse and here is the final potli purse.
