Today is gone, I soliloquize taking my bag, putting in a textbook and board marker, and planning to exit the school premises then I heard “ Master Oye you don't have classes for after-school tutorials today while not hanging around a while and chatting with us as it has been a while the principal”, Mr. Daniels said and truly he was right because lately, I always go home directly after closing time and today is Wednesday, the second and last day I am to teach for the week and sparing a few minutes won't bite I reckoned and l have a seat beside the principal than Mr. Adam joined seconded by Mr. Benjamin and Mrs. Clement with few female teachers also joined.
Today's class has ended, Mr. Benjamin said, and tomorrow is another day, Mrs. Alabi, one of the female teachers following Mrs. Clement, replied.
After five minutes, Mr Daniels, the school principal, ordered a chilled soft drink and a few fries for each teacher on the ground, and we all appreciated it.

Mrs. Peters, the new Linguistics teacher, pointed at me and said, Mr. Oye, you are the only single teacher amongst all of us; why haven't you married? Is it that you are scared of the responsibility and to make more ends means that restricted you from marriage or what?

Yes, we all know the economic situation with the global meltdown inclusively, but we all are still living and thriving in it. Some are living large and doing big things, while others are trying to make ends meet and be contented, so what is the big deal? I said, putting her to note as I noticed she vibes low.
The principal also interrupted and supported my notion, telling her that it is a shallow way of thinking in general. If she keeps thinking in that way, she should always think in positive ways with uplifting mannerisms. Then he looked at his wristwatch.
