Hi, I'm TAIWO OLUWATUNMISE a beauty, portrait photographer.
First off I want to thank @starstrings01 and @themi for introducing me to this wonderful platform . It is really lovely to be in a community where values are shared.
Photography to me is a dream job. My desire to make everything beautiful started with a few vibes for nice portraits.
I feel irritated when people appear below their standards. I get disturbed when I see images of little or no quality, it makes me wonder how much beauty can emanate from these lovely images if a touch of my editing skills falls on it.
Well, all of these fantasy didn't start overnight. I wasn't a lover of images before, I had wanted to do music, produce beats, arrange songs and engage in everything entertaining.
My love for music started at a very tender age , then I will gather up a few naira bills given to me by my dad to eat during school hours, I would pill them up underneath my box until it was enough to get myself an MP3 player.
My obsession for music waxed stronger. I could remember a time back when I wanted to repair a radio set so I could listen to more music, while repairing my left index finger got clipped in one of the radio parts.
I cried and also got a few beatings from my parent, they called me stubborn. I wasn't stubborn, I was just in a zone to express my passion.
Even at a tender age, I could sing along any artist song after listening to it once, I could analyze songs and develop good tunes for every genre.
The entire story tweaked a little bit after my first external examination which was in 2017.
I didn't get admission as early as I wanted. Just like the normal Nigerian ritual, "Children's are not allowed to stay idle".
I was told to learn some trades. I wanted to wax stronger in the musical niche but my Dad never wanted me to learn.
To my Dad and other neighboring folks "Music is a lazy man's Business"
My mum on the other hand thought it well to support me but as we all know, "The father always win".
I got tricked into a studio, my dad had to lie to pretend he needed me to escort him to get some valuable goods not knowing he already paid a fee so I could learn photography.
I did start, along the way I watched how people demonstrated talents with the camera.
I wanted to do the same so I thought of putting my mind to it.
Here are some images I took by that time

I did learn. Fortunately I got admitted into the university.
I met other photographers whose work were too good to be true.
I made a decision to learn. I watched lots of YouTube videos, did a lot of trial and errors until I could get my retouching skills to a level I'm Worth giving myself some accolades.
I take mostly of outdoor shoots now because I haven't made enough to start up a studio.
I currently have diverse of working colour grading Preset Photoshop actions and have also taught at photography workshops.

Did I quit music Hell no!! Currently I'm a music lover, a well oriented music critique and a good photographer.
Thanks to my dad who assisted the journey to learning a skill and to the friends who triggered me to learn.
My mission is to meet creatives, get inspired and inspire others to doing great things to images.
Thank you hive family. I'm really glad to be here
