To start working on this fanart, the first thing I did was to look for endless references that would give me inspiration for it. I looked for clothes, scythes and other elements that would help me to structure the character in my style.
Para comenzar a trabajar en este fanart, lo primero que hice fue buscar un sin fin de referencias que me dieran inspiración para el mismo. Busque vestimenta, guadañas y demás elementos que me sirvieran para estructurar a mi estilo el personaje en sí.
Little by little he made the sketch, integrating each element to the character. I must say that the pose I used for the drawing, I found it on Pinterest and it came to me like a glove. When I had the sketch well structured, what I did was to start detailing it in order to leave it clean and ready to start painting it.
Poco a poco fue haciendo el boceto, integrando cada elemento al personaje. Debo decir que la pose que use para el dibujo, la encontré en Pinterest y me vino como anillo al dedo. Cuando tuve bien estructurado el boceto, lo que hice fue comenzar a detallar el mismo para así dejarlo limpio y listo para comenzar a pintarlo.
To do the color work I only had to make a cold color palette, which I could say is almost monochromatic in general, since the character's clothing is entirely purple, having only a little yellow and gray in some elements, but in general the main color for this work was purple, which is a cold color.
Para hacer el trabajo de color solo tuve que hacer una paleta de color fría, que podría decir que es casi monocromático en general, ya que la vestimenta del personaje es en su totalidad morado, teniendo solo un poco de amarillo y gris en algunos elementos, pero en general el color principal para este trabajo fue el morado, el cual es un color frió.
I was adding color and detailing again and again, until I was satisfied with it. Then I went to work with the background, which in my mind I always had the idea of making a universe or starry night sky type background, to give that magical dark feeling to the character. I finish the drawing adding the final details, like some shines and adjustments. That would be all folks.
Estuve agregando color y detallando una y otra vez, hasta llegar a estar satisfecho con el mismo. Luego me fui a trabajar con el fondo, que en mi mente siempre tuve la idea de hacerle un fondo tipo universo o un cielo estrellado de noche, para dar ese sensación de oscuridad mágica al personaje. Termino el dibujo agregando los detalles finales, como algunos brillos y ajustes. Eso seria todo amigos.
