The truth is that it was an illustration that took me a few days to finish, mostly due to the fact that I couldn't find some ways to do it, one of them the background hehehe.
Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Aparezco por acá con un nuevo fanart y un encargo del juego de Runiverse. La verdad que fue una ilustración que me llevo unos cuantos días en terminar, mas que todo por el hecho de que no hallaba algunas formas de hacer, una de ellas el fondo jejeje.

I started doing the sketch, which always takes a long time to do, since I start looking for references in many places to have the necessary ones to start structuring the character. We can see that the character is a magician and has certain characteristics and elements, so little by little I draw each thing of it, helping me with the different references I found. For the pose of the drawing, I used a reference of mine, that is to say; I took a photo to be able to make this pose in the drawing, since I didn't find one that I liked.
Comencé haciendo el boceto, el cual siempre le toma mucho tiempo hacer, ya que me pongo a buscar referencias en muchos lados para tener las necesarias a la hora de comenzar a estructurar el personaje. Podemos ver que el personaje es un mago y tiene ciertas características y elementos, así que poco a poco voy dibujando cada cosa del mismo, ayudándome de las distintas referencias que encontré. Para la pose del dibujo, use una referencia mía, es decir; me tome una foto para poder hacer dicha pose en el dibujo, ya que no encontré una que me gustara.
When I have already worked on the sketch and I have it clean and finished, what I proceed to do is to start working on the color. I always start by adding a base color in the whole drawing, which in general is always the color of the skin. After that I start adding all the color respectively for each zone and element. The color palette I always work on depending on the colors contained in the original character.
Cuando ya he trabajado en el boceto y ya lo tengo limpio y terminado, lo que prosigo a hacer es comenzar a trabajar en el color. Siempre comienzo agregando un color base en todo el dibujo, que en general siempre es el color de la piel. Luego de ello comienzo a agregar todo el color respectivamente para cada zona y elemento. La paleta de color siempre la trabajo dependiendo de los colores que contenga el personaje original.
When I have already added all the base color for each element in the drawing, what I start to do is to detail, basically. I start with the face, then I go to the clothes and after that the different elements of the character. The truth is that it is the most tiring step, since I usually detail a lot of each thing.
Cuando ya he agregado todo el color base para cada elemento en dibujo, lo que comienzo a hacer es detallar, básicamente. Comienzo por el rostro, luego me voy a la ropa y luego de ello los distintos elementos que contenga el personaje. La verdad que es el paso mas cansado, ya que suelo detallar mucho cada cosa.
After having been working on the details of the drawing, I went to work on the background and it is here where I took some time to work, since I couldn't find a way to integrate a background that would match the character. It was then when it occurred to me to make a background like a forest, but in darkness, since the character should carry or have a magical aura around him and to make it stand out in that aspect, I made a forest at night, which is not really detailed, but it is on purpose, since what should be visualized mainly is the character itself.
Después de haber estado trabajando en los detalles del dibujo, me voy a trabajar en el fondo y es aquí en donde me tomo cierto tiempo de trabajar, ya que no hallaba la forma en como integrar un ben fondo que hiciera juego con el personaje. Fue entonces cuando se me ocurrió hacer un fondo como un bosque, pero en oscuridad, ya que el personaje debía llevar o tener un aura mágica a su alrededor y para que destacara en ese aspecto, hice un bosque de noche, que la verdad no se detalla tanto, pero es a propósito, ya que lo que se debe de visualizar principalmente es el personaje en sí.
The last thing I did was to work on the magical aura and add a few sparkles throughout the illustration, making it stand out even more and with that dark background, the overall character looks spectacular. I loved how I did this drawing and every element in it is detailed perfectly.
Lo ultimo que hice fue trabajar en el aura mágica y agregar unos cuantos brillos en toda la ilustración, haciendo destacar aun mas y con ese fondo oscuro, el personaje en general se ve espectacular. Ame como hice este dibujo y cada elemento en el mismo se detallar perfectamente.
