I recently took a short trip to Kota Tinggi in Johor, Malaysia. It's a nice break from city life and doesn't require much planning.
The river area was the best part of my visit. I took two photos there that really show what makes this place special. The first one captures the river bank on the other side.
The second was taken from one side with the floating jetty on sight. The bridge is also visible.
Besides the river, Kota Tinggi has other attractions worth checking out. The waterfall was popular for swimming but now closed, but there are some historical sites in town.
