Focus

We are all familiar with the saying:

"Can't see the forest for the trees"

("to be unable to get a general understanding of a situation because you are too worried about the details")https://dictionary.cambridge.org

But I can't think of any saying for its opposite. Can't see an individual tree for the forest. Can't see the fruit for the tree. Monkey mind. (Or worse, can't see the beauty of an individual fruit for the incessant distraction of your growling hungry stomach, LoL)

In the mad rush of our busy lives

How do you decide what it is important to focus on?

And can you think of a saying that covers

"Can't see the tree for the forest"?
