In this place, it was thought that she could have found love and thus evolved; however, many things happened, and today we are going to enjoy my personal interpretation of the second volume of this saga. On this occasion, my impressions will be based on the work A Court of Mist and Fury, to determine what has happened to Feyre and whether she was able to love freely, or whether, on the contrary, she is living a profound ordeal.

Reading Sarah's works is truly a magical and exciting experience. Reading her means feeling a total harmony between the worlds of fantasy and the emotions that humans internalize. Another interesting aspect of Maas's narratives is that the plot is not based simply on the sexual aspect, but rather deals with relationships with a unique sense of equality and respect. Fantasy, drama, and romance blend together to give us addictive stories that invite us to immerse ourselves in them. We will experience all of this in today's review, where we will see the protagonist's awakening after she finds herself trapped in a world she believed to be ideal for her.

As we begin this story, we immediately realize that Feyre is deeply immersed in her emotions. She feels a kind of paralysis that has taken away her desire to eat, sleep, and even paint, which helps her express herself emotionally. Now, she has gone from being the protector of her family to feeling trapped in the world she was brought to in order to save it. She is under the control of Tamlin, a character who was initially thought to be her savior and great love, but now keeps her trapped in someone else's cage. He says he is protecting her, but what is really happening is that he exercises immense emotional control, which leads us to believe that this is a possessive and toxic relationship.

What is certain is that Tamlin thinks Feyre is a mere human whom he can dominate at will, and he refuses to accept that she now possesses powers and is immortal. But all is not lost, because when Rhysand enters Feyre's life, everything will change completely. This character may be arrogant and mysterious, but he will be the key to helping the protagonist break out of the lethargy that keeps her paralyzed. Rhysand is the Lord of the Night Court, and unlike Tamlin, who is suffocating and controlling, he will be the driving force behind Feyre regaining her free will. Rhysand does not save her from the abyss, but rather gives her the tools for her salvation; this shows that equality can exist in a relationship where all opinions count.

That light in the darkness is represented by the City of Starlight; there, Feyre feels right at home, and it is precisely in that place where she recovers everything she had lost; she moves forward and rediscovers her passion for painting. She has returned to her former self in a world where secrets do not exist. Definitely; the author makes an important point, which is that people believe they have found love, but it turns out that this love is so suffocating that you immediately realize that the person you thought you loved is not the person you needed to move forward or heal your wounds; the negative emotional control that one person exerts over another will never be hopeful.

One aspect I loved was how Feyre controlled and evolved with her powers. For me, this development represents how the protagonist rose from the abyss to become an extremely powerful being. She has part of the lords' powers within her, which makes her a kind of hybrid, serving as a link between all the courts. Now Feyre accepts that she is immortal and must be on equal footing with the rest of the immortals. In short, Feyre is the High Lady and stands beside Rhysand, who is the High Lord of the Night Court.

In general terms, the plot is based on how powerful the sense of choice is. This means that you have the power to sink or rise up to greatness. We see all of this in the protagonist's personality, because we enjoy her evolution, her power, and her determination to leave the past behind and become a powerful being on equal terms. On the other hand, we also learned that love does not mean controlling the other person, it does not mean keeping them locked up under the pretext of protecting them from the world; on the contrary, love means being equal and offering the tools to achieve goals with total support; this is the feeling of a healthy relationship. Otro aspecto interesante en las narrativas de Maas, es que la trama no está basada simplemente en el aspecto sexual; sino que trata las relaciones de pareja con un sentido de igualdad y respeto únicos. La fantasía, el drama y el romance se mezclan para brindarnos historias adictivas que invitan a introducirnos en ellas. Todo esto lo vamos a vivir en la reseña de hoy, donde veremos ese despertar de la protagonista, luego de que se vea atrapada en un mundo que creía ser el ideal para ella.

Al iniciar con esta historia; de inmediato nos damos cuenta que Feyre está sumergida en lo más profundo de sus emociones. Siente como una especie de parálisis que le ha quitado las ganas de comer, dormir e incluso no desea pintar, cosa que le ayuda mucho para expresarse emocionalmente. Ahora; ella ha pasado de ser la protectora de su familia, a prácticamente sentirse atrapada en ese mundo, al cual fue llevada con el objeto de salvarlo. Ella está bajo el dominio de Tamlin; un personaje que en un principio se pensaba sería su salvador y gran amor; ahora la mantiene atrapada en una jaula de otro. Él dice que la está protegiendo; pero lo que realmente sucede, es que ejerce un control emocional inmenso, lo que nos hace pensar que allí ocurre una relación posesiva y tóxica.

Lo que si es cierto; es que Tamlin piensa, que Feyre es una simple humana que puede dominar a su antojo y se niega asimismo, a aceptar que ahora ella posee poderes y es inmortal. Pero no todo está perdido; porque al entrar Rhysand en la vida de Feyre todo cambiará por completo. Este personaje podría ser arrogante y con mucho misterio; sin embargo, será la pieza clave para que la protagonista salga de ese letargo que la mantiene paralizada. Rhysand es el Lord de la Corte Nocturna y a diferencia de Tamlin que es asfixiante y controlador; él será el motor para que Feyre vuelva a tener voluntad propia. Rhysand no la salva del abismo, sino que le da las herramientas para su salvación; esto demuestra, que sí puede existir igualdad en una relación donde todas las opiniones cuentan.

Esa luz en la oscuridad está representada por la Ciudad de la Luz Estelar; allí Feyre se siente como pez en el agua y es precisamente en ese lugar, donde ejecuta todas las acciones que había perdido; sale adelante y recupera la emoción de la pintura. Definitivamente; la autora emite una reflexión importante y es que, las personas creen haber encontrado el amor, pero resulta que ese amor es tan asfixiante, que de inmediato te das cuenta que a quien creías amar, no es la persona que necesitabas para avanzar o sanar heridas; el control emocional negativo que ejerce una persona hacia otra, jamás será esperanzador.

Un aspecto que me encantó; es como Feyre fue controlando y evolucionando con sus poderes; para mí, este avance representa la forma como la protagonista salió del abismo para convertirse en un ser sumamente poderoso; ella tiene dentro de sí parte de los poderes de los lord, lo que la convierte como en una especie de híbrido; sirviendo de enlace entro todas las cortes. Ahora Feyre acepta que es inmortal y debe estar en igualdad de condiciones con el resto de los inmortales. En pocas palabras; Feyre es la Alta Señora y está al lado de Rhysand quien es el Alto Señor de la Corte Nocturna.

En términos generales; la trama se ha basado en lo poderoso que es el sentido de la elección. Esto significa; que uno es quien tiene el poder de hundirse o salir adelante para ser grande. Todo esto lo hemos visto en la personalidad de la protagonista, porque disfrutamos de su evolución, de su poder y de la voluntad que tuvo para dejar el pasado atrás y convertirse en un ser poderoso en igualdad de condiciones. Por otra parte; también aprendimos que el amor no significa controlar al otro, no significa mantenerlo encerrado con el pretexto que existe una protección ante el mundo; al contrario, amar significa ser iguales y ofrecer las herramientas para lograr las metas con total apoyo; este es el sentir de una relación sana.
