My name is Justin. I'm very happy to have had my account accepted today, and to be joining this exciting new community.
I'm not entirely sure what my plans are for this adventure, but ill probably start with some original-content photography. I work on the waterfront in San Francisco, so there's always something interesting to shoot.
Now a little about myself: I've been in SF since the late Nineties, but grew up north of here in the woods. I was involved in the electronic music scene and with early streaming music/video at groovetech.com (defunct). I've traveled around a bit in Spain, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Chile. I'm currently employed as an engineer/mechanic for a tug boat company. We play with some big machines, so you might see some industrial project posts from me.
Some other interests we might talk about: I am a big reader (audiobooks mostly, due to time constraints), I hike a bit around the bay area with my lady and our dog, I go for weekend drives in my mk3 Focus (which I freaking love), I gave up the booze nearly a decade ago (I'm here to help if you want, but I promise not to preach to you about it), I cook, I love music of many genres (from Satie to Burial), and I'm that rarest of rarities in this neighborhood: a firearms enthusiast; Additionally, I've recently become interested in trading cryptocurrency. I'm just dipping my toes in right now, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
