Searching For Friends Of Peace - Day 3 || IAmAliveChallenge (IAAC) #196
The day was Wednesday 19th of November, 2025, the third day of the preaching campaign in search of the friends of peace at Ikot Abia, Mkpat Enin local government area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
As usual by 5.55am we were up to start the morning routine and preparation to move. But before moving out, we to considered the morning worship daily text which was taken from Rom 13:1, which emphasizes the fact that we must "...be in subjection to the superior authorities. Even though many people acknowledge that we need the secular governments and that we should obey at least some of the laws set by these “superior authorities.” But those same people may hesitate to obey a law that seems unfair or appears to require too much. But as obedient children, the holy book tells us that “whoever opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God. So we try to be obedient to the governmental authority as it pleases God. The message was well taken.
After that we then prepare the breakfast, took our bath and get dressed and then settle to eat the breakfast together.
By 8.52am we were already at the kingdom hall for the meeting for field service where we meet with the local brothers. After pairing and the prayer said, we set out for the third territory at Ikot Abia, Ikot Obiokoi environs Mkpat Enin local government. This means that our trekking is reduced unlike the previous territories.

The area do not have closed-by buildings, so we have to stretch out and enter all the knocks and crannies to search for these lovely friends of peace and delivered the message of hopes and promising future soon to come.
Even those that were busy working had to pause to listen with great eagerness.
After preaching for more than 2 hours from house to house, and having covered the territory, we gathered to move to another nearby territory still in that axis.
Meanwhile while there, a sister from that community who leave nearby requested that we branch her house and have at least a cup of water to quench our thirst. We gladly move there, but as it turns out, the cup of water rather became coconut water. The sister who was bereaved and just buried her late husband showed much hospitality to us by asking our guider to climb and cut down some coconut for our consumption.
After sympathizing with her and sharing some comforting words with her we then began enjoying the coconut.
It was really a lovely atmosphere and nice experience being with fellow workers under God's vineyard. In fact after we had taken enough she still gave us some more coconuts to take home, such a fine spirit!
In fact the neighbors saw love in action and were really moved.
After we departed we left for home, rested before preparing the evening meal
After the meal we gathered for the family evening worship. We also share nice experiences we had in the field and that booster our zeal to do more in the remaining days of the search for friends of peace at another territory.
