Good morning, dear travelers. I hope you have an adventure-filled Thursday.
Every November 18, people from all over the city, the state of Zulia, and the country visit the Virgin of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá, also affectionately known as "La Chinita," as an act of faith, love, and devotion. On this day, with grateful hearts, we dress up to celebrate our roots and customs, which also make us pleasing to God.
Honestly, in previous years, my visit to La Chinita was on ordinary days, but since last year, as part of a promise, I visit her on her special day to give thanks above all for my health and that of my loved ones, but also for my job and for keeping it, since the promise I made almost two years ago was to return to my profession. At that time, I wanted to practice, and although I thought it would be difficult, I know that somehow my prayers were heard through the intercession of the Virgin.
That Tuesday, at approximately 7:00 a.m., I approached the Basilica, which is the temple of La Chinita. Outside the building, you could see some of the chairs used for the various Eucharistic celebrations held before, during, and after the day. The church was radiant, and two huge posters with images of our saints, José Gregorio Hernández and MarÃa Teresa Rendiles, hung on its facade.
There was a huge line to enter the temple. Most people brought flowers to La Chinita as part of an offering of love, while others bought theirs while waiting nearby. On the sales tables, there were items such as wooden images and magnets, small paintings, and albums featuring not only the Virgin but also José Gregorio Hernández.
The line moved quickly, and in less than 20 minutes I was inside the Basilica. At that moment, they were holding one of the Masses scheduled for that day, and there were many parishioners listening to the word. Meanwhile, I was overcome with emotion, and tears began to flow uncontrollably from my eyes when I saw the image of La Chinita covered in flowers. I don't know how to explain what I felt being there at that moment; it was simply a deep sense of gratitude.
It is a beautiful experience, which in a way keeps me filled with love and deep faith. I hope to have the joy of coming every year on this day.

Buenos dÃas queridos viajeros, deseo que tengan un jueves lleno de aventura.
Cada 18 de Noviembre, personas de todas partes de la ciudad, el estado Zulia y del paÃs visitan a la Virgen del Rosario de Chiquinquirá, llamada también con mucho cariño "La Chinita" como un acto de fe, amor y devoción, en este este dÃa y con un corazón agradecido nos vestimos de fiesta para seguir parte de nuestras raÃces y costumbres que además nos hacen agradables a Dios.
Sinceramente en años anteriores mi visita a la Chinita era en dÃas comunes, pero desde el año pasado y como parte de una promesa, la visito en su dÃa especial, para agradecer sobretodo por mi salud y la de los mÃos pero también por mi trabajo y por conservar el mismo, ya que la promesa cumplida hace casi dos años era volver a mi profesión, en ese momento querÃa ejercer y aunque lo veÃa difÃcil, se que de alguna manera mis oraciones fueron escuchadas por intercesión de la Virgen.
Ese martes, aproximadamente a las 7:00am me acerque hasta la BasÃlica que es el templo de la Chinita, afuera de sus instalaciones podÃan verse parte de las sillas que utilizan para las distintas eucaristÃas que se celebran antes, durante y después de su dÃa, la Iglesia estaba radiante y además en su fachada colgaban dos enormes afiches con las imágenes de nuestros Santos, José Gregorio Hernández y la MarÃa Teresa Rendiles.
HabÃa una enorme fila para poder ingresar al templo, la mayorÃa de las personas le llevan flores a la Chinita como parte de una ofrenda de amor y otras mientras estaban esperando a los alrededores compraron las suyas, en las mesas de ventas se hacÃan notar algunos objetos como imágenes e imanes de madera, pequeños cuadros y álbumes no solo con la Virgen sino de José Gregorio Hernández.
La fila avanzo rápidamente y en menos de 20 minutos ya me encontraba en el interior de la BasÃlica, en ese momento estaban realizando una de las eucaristÃa pautadas para este dÃa y se encontraba con muchos feligreses escuchando la palabra, mientras tanto yo, estaba llena de emociones, hasta algunas lágrimas se me escaparon sin control de mis ojos, al ver a la imagen de la Chinita llena de flores, no se como explicarle lo que sentÃa al estar allà en ese momento, sencillamente era un profundo agradecimiento.
Es una hermosa experiencia, que de cierto modo me mantiene llena de amor y de profunda fe, espero tener la dicha de venir todos los años en su dÃa.
