Monomad: Urban portraits in direct sunlight [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

When you have a stunning model who really catches the eye, that’s all you need just find a good spot where the sun hits her just right, and that’s exactly what we did. Daniela already stands out for her beauty; all that was missing was the right location. We kept moving around, always keeping the sun’s position in mind. I hope you enjoy these photos.

Cuando tienes una buena modelo que llama la atención, no necesitas más, solo ubicarla en un buen lugar donde el sol la ilumine, y esto fue lo que hicimos. Daniela ya destaca por su belleza y solo faltaba la ubicación; nos estuvimos moviendo constantemente teniendo en cuenta la dirección del sol. Espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.

Basically, my approach has always been to take urban photos; it’s one of the things I enjoy most, which is why we stopped at the skatepark and kept moving around even though the surroundings might not be very noticeable, certain elements do draw the eye toward Daniela.

Principalmente, mi idea siempre se basa en hacer fotografías urbanas; es una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer, por eso nos detuvimos en el skatepark y estuvimos en constante movimiento, aunque quizás no se aprecie tanto el entorno, pero sí ciertas figuras que dirigen la atención hacia Daniela.

Another element worth highlighting is the model’s outfit; in this black and white photograph, it works perfectly because it creates a striking contrast with the tree filled background, which makes her stand out even more and that’s the goal, after all.

Otra cosa que uno debe aprovechar es la ropa que lleva la modelo; en este contexto de fotografía en blanco y negro, viene perfecto, porque hace un excelente contraste con el fondo lleno de árboles, lo cual le hace resaltar incluso más a ella y esto es lo que se busca, a fin de cuentas.
