Monomad: Streets and buildings [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy start to the week to everyone, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography; I hope you’re all doing great. I want to kick off the week by sharing more street photos, so I hope you enjoy each one as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Feliz inicio de semana para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro; espero que todos se encuentren genial. Quiero empezar la semana sumando más fotografías callejeras, por lo que espero que disfruten de cada fotografía, al igual que yo disfruté el hacerlas.

Although I try to focus heavily on people when I take street photos, there are times when certain structures catch my eye whether because of their architecture or the way the sun hits them and creates a more striking appearance which is why there’s such variety in my photos today.

A pesar de que cuando hago fotografías callejeras, intento centrarme mucho en las personas, hay ocasiones en las cuales ciertas estructuras se me hacen llamativas, ya sea por su arquitectura o por cómo el sol impacta en ellas y genera cierta apariencia más atractiva; de ahí la variedad en mis fotografías el día de hoy.

The streets always have a story to tell, and that’s what I strive to capture in my photographs; moreover, when viewed in black and white, I feel that story becomes even more compelling you appreciate the details a bit more without the distraction of color, and I find the result to be even better.

Siempre las calles tienen algo que contar y es lo que busco capturar en mis fotografías; además, al verlas en blanco y negro, considero que esa historia termina siendo más llamativa, aprecias un poco más las cosas sin tener la distracción del color y el resultado me parece incluso mejor.
