Monomad: A lizard among the leaves [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

In the backyard of my house if you go out for a couple of minutes you can witness how there are many small lizards running around, here in Venezuela they are known as “matos”, I can't tell you what kind of lizards they are, but I am going to share with you some pictures I managed to take a couple of days ago of one, I hope you enjoy them.

En el patio de mi casa si salen un par de minutos pueden presenciar cómo hay muchas pequeñas lagartijas corriendo, aquí en Venezuela se les conoce como “matos”, no sabría decirles qué tipo de lagartijas son, pero sí que voy a compartirles algunas fotografías que logré hacer hace un par de días a una, espero que las disfruten.

Taking pictures of this kind of lizards is a complete challenge, because at the slightest movement you make and they realize they are going to run away, so I had to help a lot with the Zoom of my camera and even so you can see in some pictures how the lizard was watching my movements, perhaps waiting for the right moment to run away.

Hacerle fotografías a este tipo de lagartijas es un completo reto, porque al mínimo movimiento que hagas y se den cuenta van a salir corriendo, por lo cual me tuve que ayudar muchísimo del Zoom de mi cámara y aun así pueden ver en algunas fotografías el cómo la lagartija estaba pendiente de mis movimientos, quizás esperando el momento adecuado de huir.

I spent a couple of minutes taking some pictures, I didn't want to bother too much and I was sure that even if I wanted to I wouldn't have that much time, it was possible that she would leave at any moment, but curiously she let me take some pictures that I really liked, I could even capture her climbing a wall, but I'll share those pictures with you another time.

Estuve un par de minutos haciendo algunas fotografías, tampoco quise molestar mucho y estaba seguro de que aun queriendo no tendría tanto tiempo, era posible que se fuese en cualquier momento, pero curiosamente me dejó hacer unas fotografías que me gustaron mucho, incluso pude captarla subiéndose a una pared, pero esas fotografías se las comparto en otra ocasión.
