attack of the wobbles hosted by
@mariannewest Every morning he doesn't fish my husband takes the dogs outside of our fenced yard and lets them smell the animals who visited over night.
Yesterday when he was trying to get them to go out, our granddaughter's dog did not want to get off of her couch. He finally got her to get up but when she walked she held her head down and her back was arched. We watched her for a couple of hours then decided she needed to see a Vet. She would not eat or drink anything and when we got her outside from being in all night, she did not pee.
We had a hard time getting her to the truck, she had a bad attack of the wobbles and neither of us could carry her. But slowly we got her in it. My husband put her dog bed behind the front seat and it took some doing but got her back there.

As soon as we started driving, she sat up and looked around as if she had nothing wrong. When we got to the Vet's office we had a hard time getting her from the truck.

Once inside the office, she looked and acted fine. She would walk around like she had nothing wrong. We told the vet she did not eat the night before and did not eat or drink anything that morning. He tried to give her a treat but she refused it. He said he could tell she was having some neck and spine pain and had arthritis in her front knees. He said it could be the pain that is making her act this way. We have pain meds and a steroid pill we have to give her and he wants to see her back in two weeks.

On the way home she started looking bad again and when we tried to get her from the truck, she would not budge. I finally said to leave the doors open and if she wants out she can do it herself. Thirty minutes later she was still in the truck so my husband took the rear and I took the front legs and we got her lifted out of the backseat and to the ground.
She went into the house and got on her couch. My husband gave her the meds and put some canned food on top of her dry food and she got up and ate it but did not drink any water. He tried to bring the water to her and she still refused it.
This morning I was still worried, she had not gotten up from her couch and had not drank any water all night. I texted my daughter and she said she would call the vet when they opened. In the meantime, my husband got up and was ready to take the dogs out. I told him she had not been up and had not drunk anything. He tells the dogs, "you want to go out" and up jumps Sasha, she is the sick dog, and she beats the other dog to the door. When they came back inside my husband said she peed 2 times, drank water, and chased squirrels.
