This is my post for #freewriters 2682 prompt
painter of dreams hosted by
@mariannewest My husband and I disagree when it comes to dreams. One day, years ago, I told him about a dream, and everything in it was gold colored. He said, "We can not dream in color, so how do you know it was gold?" I told him I dreamed in color, and he still said it was not possible. I asked why he said that, and he told me he never dreams in color. How terrible is that? I can not imagine seeing everything like I was watching a black and white TV.
This is what AI says about the color of our dreams, I do not agree with it because I am older than my husband, only 4 months, but still we had the same TV experience. I did not know this when I wrote about him seeing everything like he was watching a B/W TV.
Some people dream in black and white, especially those who grew up before the widespread availability of color television while others dream in color, and it's a common misconception that people dream exclusively in one or the other.
I have been working on cleaning up the yard and now after seeing this prompt, I know what I want my yard to look like. I want more color, I want it to look like a painter of dreams came through it and with a few brush strokes he made my yard come to life with color.

I want color in all directions. I want to see the morning sun give the sunflowers a glow like a fresh coat of paint.

They look like they are too beautiful to be real and one might think it is a painting but no artist can match God's work. I wish they bloomed more often.
