This project is a Task Request from the Project Owner through utopian.io to created a logo for browser extention sponsor blocker.
In the explanation, the Project Owner mentions to communicating via Discord or Email to complete this task. I think this good project to solve the problem and I try to introduce myself through Discord and Project Owner provides some information about Sponsor Blocker. Finally, I was appointed to completed this task.
SponsorBlock is an extension that will skip over sponsored segments of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that let's anyone submit the start and end time's of sponsored segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment. In summary, it's a crowd-sourced adblock for sponsored section of YouTube videos.”
The first step to start logo design is ask for some idea about logo. A few different ideas that would be suggestions from PO is something with a play button would be nice (to represent it's for use with YouTube). But maybe something else representing a sponsor could work better in a logo (such as a bag of money, or coins). The logo to either represent that the sponsors are being skipped (like a skip symbol), or that the sponsors are being blocked. That could be with a no symbol or some sort.
From the results of the research, I began to combine these ideas into the following logo.
Project Owner responded very well to the results of the SponsorBlocker logo design proposal and give some feedback to making the play button a little bigger to make it easier to make out the small icon in google chrome.
For the smaller icon, Project Owner give some advice it might be best if the yellow dollar sign part is removed so that it doesn't look like there is a notification. But, this version still to keep that for the bigger icon on the chrome web store page.
The colors above are recommendations from Project Owner. Consistent use of the colors will contribute to the cohesive and harmonious look of the SponsorBlocker brand identity across all relevant media.

The Logo design is very simple, clean, and modern. The visual of logo is easy to understand and memorable. Help the Project Owner to improve the visual and identity of the project. Useful in all applications (print, web, mobile) and visible all sizes.
