Hello, #HiveGarden. Today I'm participating with question 1.
What do you love most about gardening in May?
This month of May, started with rain, yesterday morning cloudy, afternoon rain, today 7: 30 am. Dawn with a drizzle.
My garden report is between flowers and rain. Their supergreen leaves look good, although there are some waterlogged, I remove the water and observe that the drainage is clogged, then I open the holes with a sharp something.
When I see the flowers in my garden I remember when I was in elementary school, in the month of May flowers were brought to the Virgin🙏, each day it was the turn of a section. Then, the day came when it was my turn, in the afternoon of the previous day I cut flowers from the gardens of the neighbors, to take them the next day, first thing in the morning. We prayed and placed the flowers of each student at the feet of the image.
The rain has been recurrent, there was a day when the water was pouring.
A lot of water fell on the succulents, although they are indoors, that day the amount of water was tremendous. I made an immediate change of them, I put them in another place.
Of course, I am storing some rain water for watering in the following days.
This environment fascinates me, the month of May, the lilies are blooming, I am waiting for others to bloom, days ago I had rescued some cochineal, now they are less sickly. Others have buds.
Rainwater is the best elixir for plants, and the chirping of birds is the most indicative that it is súper good for nature. The bees and hummingbirds walking among the flowers and raindrops gives us a tremendous feeling that all is not lost. We continue to work in our gardens.
My fellow gardeners, thank you for reading. Your opinions are welcome…
