Hello, this is only for educational porpuses. This is story and a recipe about rocket sugar.
A few weeks ago I'm started watching videos about homemade rockets, fireworks, and I'm started reading firework forum also. So after a while, I found "sugar rocket", the video said, all you need is potassium nitrate, powder sugar, mixer, a tube, where you can load the mixture, and something, that you can use to stuff in the mix into the tube. The tube can be paper or PVC, because it's need to be light.
If you have all the ingredients ( I'm ordered potassium nitrate from a local gardener shop, because it's used as a fertilizer), you can start creating your own rockets.
Firstly you measure 35g of powder sugar and 65g of potassium nitrate, but don't mix it yet. If you done with this you need to use the mixer to grind the potassium nitrate to smaller particles.
After this, you need to mix the two ingredients, not with the mixer, but with your hands. (Put powder sugar and the potassium nitrate into something which can be hermetically sealed, and shake it.)
At the first time I'm used a paper tube, which was 15cm long and 3cm wide.
You need to put the well shaked mixture into the tube solidly.
After this you need to find a stick, which is 3 times longer than the tube itself, and you need to stick it to the side of the tube. And the rocket is ready to launch! (Also you can put a fuze to the rocket, but if you don't have, like I do, you can just light it up with a lighter or with matches.)
You need to put it into a glass bottle or something like that, light it up, and run! :D
My first rocket flown up like 100m, so it's quite effective! And there are some photos of sugar rocket tests:

Thank you for reading my post, if you are interested what am I doing, come back later.
