H avana is quite a noisy city, and at practically any time of day, there are lots of people on the street going about their business, and others just standing around doing nothing—"staring at the ground," as we say here. Why am I telling you this? Well, while chatting with my sister, she mentioned how few people she’s been seeing on the street lately, which is actually kind of strange; hearing that made me want to go check it out for myself. L a Ciudad de La Habana es bastante ruidosa, y prácticamente a cualquier hora hay muchas personas en la calle haciendo sus gestiones y otros sin hacer nada, mirando las musarañas, decimos aquí. ¿Por qué les digo esto? Resulta que conversando con mi hermana, me comentó de la poca cantidad de personas que ve últimamente en la calle, algo raro, la verdad; decirme eso es motivarme para ir a comprobarlo.
