Strolling at Sta. Cruz

2025-05-04T13:52:27
At Sta. Cruz, I grew up but the time came when I started building a family; I transferred to a different place and now I call home. Even so, I'm still thankful that once in a while I can go home to visit my mother and my siblings. Well, it's not just them if I'd be honest with myself. It's the place where I grew up.
Oh, occasionally, I went home for occasions like the birthday of my mother and a festival as well. So yeah, this time it's the festive our Brgy. Sta. Cruz. I went home a day before so I could enjoy my time staying at home a little bit longer. However, I learned the parlor games and some fun activities were held a day before I arrived. Unfortunately, it was a rest day when I came home because the day after would be the day of festive.
So, the morning was quiet, maybe because the people were resting after the 3 days straight of partying; Sleeping late at night at the disco and busy activities. I didn't want to feel bored and I wanted to cherish my time staying at home. I walked around our Brgy. and wished to glimpse the beauty of the Brgy.
In the first photo above, I was speechless after seeing it on my phone. It's a mangrove located inside the sanctuary. I love how the sea brightened the tree in the middle of it.
When I took a picture of this boat that docked near the shore I thought it was just a normal photo. However, when what's around it was completely white. I only did a few edits to enhance the color and to darken what's not the subject.
Yes, the streets or the roads were empty at this moment. That's why I captured more since I wanted to highlight the beauty of the environment without many people to distract the view. Well, actually, I wanted to tour you all in our place while showing the composition of my picture in that tree first.
