Diet is an important part of our daily lives, which not only nourishes our body, but also directly affects our quality of life, health and performance. Many people say, "As you eat, so is your intelligence." This is absolutely true, because the way we eat has a profound effect on our body and mind.
Talking about my personal diet, I have always been a little more conscious about food. This habit mainly comes from my family. Since childhood, I have been a very picky eater, especially since I have a kind of allergy to bitter-tasting foods. Now, after entering working life, I have understood more and more how maintaining a proper diet is very important for our health.
I do not like excessively spicy or salty foods, because they are not good for my body. I eat meat, but I avoid its broth or excess oily parts. I also do not include foods that cause digestive problems in my diet. Especially since I have allergy problems, I choose my food very consciously, so that no food is harmful to my body. An important aspect of my diet is that I never keep my stomach empty. I eat little, but at a fixed time. This keeps my body healthy and keeps me focused on work.
Due to my job, I often have to be on tour, so I always try to eat easily digestible and healthy food. I avoid heavy foods like biryani, spicy meat or foods with excessive oil and spices, as they can cause digestive problems while being outside for a long time. That is why I give more importance to fruits, yogurt, light vegetables and balanced meals.
Another important thing about diet is that many people give more importance to quantity, while some give priority to quality. In my opinion, quality is much more important than quantity. Even though I eat less, I try to eat nutritious food so that all the necessary elements of the body are met. Many times we eat unhealthy food just for taste, which later causes various physical problems.
Regularity is very important in diet. Some people eat whenever they want, while others stick to a specific time. In my case, I always try to eat at a specific time, so that my body is supplied with nutrients according to its needs. Those who eat irregularly, their body's metabolism is affected and this increases the risk of various diseases.
We should all be aware of our eating habits and create a routine that will help us stay healthy. Healthy food not only increases our physical strength, but also positively affects our mental health. Therefore, we should not only look at the taste or quantity, but rather focus on consuming healthy and nutritious food.
