In this Episode of About Wings, we start the adventure, going South!
Italy keeps a lot of thoughtful times for me, including some that feel like a rehab of the life as I knew it. Loneliness, fear and the urge to just cancel all of my plans and just go home are constant companions, as soon as I started this journey. It was just a matter of time until I would break off the journey and carry a lot of regret for the rest of my days. Unless, yes unless I'd let myself experience what all of it was really about.
Venice saves the first day by giving me a first glimpse of the positive sides of this way of living and I get into a really dangerous driving situation moving on to the next city. Furthermore we'll explore Genoa, where my eyes were opened by a surprising and random discovery. The roads along the coast on our way to France lead us into the mountains and onto a huge detour, which uncovers some beautiful views we might not have seen otherwise.
