Hey there, Hivers!
It's Mon once again, I want to share another fulfilling experience that I had with kythe kids.
I was able to do volunteer work with my fellow volunteers and staff, I was assigned to the logistics team.
I'm with Kuya Ernan, Ate Odie, Ate Mary, Ate Jean, Ate Rose, Ate Myla, Ate Ana, and Ate Alex.
The event started at 8 AM; however, since we are the ones who set up the equipment and other stuff, I was there at exactly 3 AM to help with transporting the materials and food for the event.
The event was held at the CCP Grounds around Pasay, Manila City it was a very huge and spacious place perfect for an event like this one.
The stage, booths, and tents were already set up by our partner, the "Majestics." big shout out to them and for their hard work.
We transported a lot of boxes and loot bags, including first aid kits, hygiene kits, tarpaulins, and gift bags for the kids
Each booth has its corresponding sponsors, and for this event, the sponsors are Shangrila, 7/11, Waters, ADP, Sunlife, Yogii, and Kythe - Ateneo. They are the ones who provide food and gifts for children.
We assured that the kids and their parents are still comfortable despite the hot weather, so we provided a huge fan for them. Those children are cancer patients, and we want them to feel just like a normal kid.
In this photo, we asked them to design their kite. They are all creative, and they make their kite presentable.
We partnered the kids with the sponsors for the activity, and they need to guide the kids in Special syringe making. This activity will help the kids reduce their fear of syringes since they are always exposed to it.
The kids and volunteers gathered together to fly a kite, and you can see that they are so happy.
There are different kite designs, and it is so beautiful, perfect for the blue Sky.

Meet Ate Chloe, she's so pretty and perfectly amazing! She's so energetic on that day and it makes me hyped.

I visited the Yoogi and 7/11 booth, and I got this for free; it's enough to refresh and beat the heat.
We ended the event with a gift-giving, and thank you to the sponsors for their continuous support and generosity. This event is very fulfilling, I can see how happy the kids are with their genuine smiles. I am looking forward to next year's kite flying event.
That's it for me, and thank you, everyone, for dropping by 😁
Till next time!
Mooon out 🤙
