The maiden's tower is a small, cozy house built on a rock on the entrance to bosphorus. It is one of the symbols of Istanbul. History watch tower was used as a sea lighthouse and it is a milestone marking the entrance of Istanbul Strait. The tower, which became the symbol of Üsküdar, is the only remains from the Byzantine era in Üsküdar.
