It's another beautiful here already and a day to carry out the the planned irrigation for our vegetables. It is good to have a pumping machine help out with wetting the crops in the field here as I can truly see and feel the pain of people who have to use buckets and cups to fetch water from the river to wet their plants.

Not everyone has the capacity to purchase a pumping generator machine set. Infact most machines sold and used for different activities in the country are very very expensive. One time I had wanted to purchase an industrial weaving machine and was saving some money towards this purpose but I was never able to purchase the machine until date as price kept pushing higher and beating my savings. Now the current price of the machine is about $300. Something formally purchasable at just a $100. Thesame hike in price happened to most farming equipments.

For those that planted only a small amount of vegetables for consumption purpose and not for commercial purpose, you will see them using buckets and small bows scope water from the river to wet their crops.

About two to three different varieties of pepper have been planted planted here but for most pepper it is difficult to know their differences until they starts producing seeds. Most pepper specie look similar in their leaf shape and sizes just like the ones we have here. There is the chilli pepper, scotch bonnet and the other long type of pepper.
Having grown different specie for different years we know the difference among them

Our pepper are currently at their flowering stage now and this is often followed by the seed production. We have carried out a manual weeding here at least twice making the field clean and conducive for the plants. The peppers are all doing well with no challenge.
