Hello Hive

Beautiful morning to my passionate farmers and homesteaders. It's another of those rainy days that often keeps us trapped in the house and unable to work on the farm.
The cold weather made me oversleep, and I woke up really late. Well, since it's raining, we can't go to the farm; hence, we stay stuck to other activities in the house.
I have gotten an order from a client to sew some birthday clothes for her dear daughter, and this will be my best time to do so.
Yesterday we were at the farm, and I was surprised to see that weeds are already growing in the newly cultivated lands.

It's surprising to see that these weeds didn't even waste time before they were already growing and flourishing, while the crops we have planted are yet to germinate. If this continues, we may have to engage in weeding much earlier than expected, which will be a really tedious task.
Some farming practices are meant to be adopted and put in place if we want to escape from some of the laborious farm work we engage in.
The advent of inorganic chemicals and modern technology in farming can be stress relieving and very much less hazardous to our health and environment if we use the chemicals well and in moderated measurements.
There are varieties of chemicals here that can be used for both weeding and preservation of our crops.
One of the best methods to prevent weeds from overtaking farm crops after planting is to spray the farm with these chemicals while the crops have yet to germinate. Grasses tend to grow on ridges that are not properly cultivated, and we know how much hard labor it is to cultivate the land.
Regardless of how carefully laborers cultivate the land, it is very difficult to turn over the soil and hide all the grasses. Cultivation is better done with tractors, which aren't readily available.
We got some less hazardous chemicals, learned about the standard measurements needed to destroy grasses, and will be in the farm to spray all the right before planting our corm. We hope that this year
We would not have to engage in rigorous manual weeding to control weeds from affecting our crops.
Different chemicals exist for application on different types of crops. It is required to be more careful with chemicals being sprayed on the farm when the crops are growing, especially vegetables that will be eaten directly without much processing.
Having to spray the farm before the crop germinates is better. And another best time to spray the farm is when the crops have grown fully well above the ground level. Applying herbicides before planting/germination and then another application of the herbicides when the crops are well grown above the ground level are the two best periods to apply herbicides to our crops. It reduced the stress of manual labor and also constituted less health hazard. Using the appropriate measure of chemicals is equally good and protects our environment from agricultural chemical pollution.

It is not uncommon to see cows grazing on the fields which is a good natural way to reduce the level and height of weeds to give room for better cultivation of the land. The only challenge is that these animals can end up eating planted crops in the later days of farming when we are not in farm to monitor them while grazing, hence we often make it a point of duty to chase away herders and the cattles from off our farm whenever farming period like this begins.
