
Echinacea is an amazing herb for keeping away the general cold and flu and decreases symptoms and duration of the cold and flu. It also helps with bronchitis and a range of other common illnesses.
When buying it make sure you are getting the root and NOT just the plant material, as it is the root that contains the healing properties, and a lot of fake brands will sell the plant material which is useless.
Take it 1-3 times a day depending on whether you are taking it as prevention or to fight the flu. I can personally say it works, especially taking it over winter when it flu season.
Taking a shot of it or a couple of caps depending on how you buy. It feels like taking pseudoefedrin except it actually fights the flu and not just the symptoms, but definitely does help with the symptoms and lessening the duration of the flu.
I would definitely recommend it coming into winter. Echinacea is one of the best all round immune system boosters you can get, and should be utilised more often.
