This japanese tearoom opened in 1980 in Paris. But Toraya was the official pastries provider of the Imperial Palace during the reign of emperor Goyozei in the 16th century. Now they own 80 shops in Japan mainly in Kyoto and Tokyo.
Here's the famous Wagashi. Besides they make each month 4 special wagashi depending on the seasons.
It's a very peaceful retreat and I've been going there for 15 years. They also make 3 menus for lunch (but I have no pictures to show you)
