"This is a completely unexpected finding, on several levels." π to be read with a voice full of excitement!
Wait, I apologise, I rushed to the point of the story before I even made an introduction. That would not be acceptable under any circumstances, not even in elementary school when you have to write an essay. There are some basic rules that should be followed, though I probably ignore them and just follow the thread of my thoughts something that speaks inside this head. I don't know why I didn't like those small writing compositions in the language lessons when I was in elementary school. π€·ββ Art wasn't among my favourite subjects either, however, we will see something about writing and painting (on rocks) in this post today. Life brings its own twists and turns, and just when you least expect something, it knocks on the door. And you can be in disbelief or lack certainty, things just unfold as they want.

To start with, I didn't know my husband would like to accompany me to my gig today. When he suggested that, I accepted immediately. I would not have to drive, and also, it means I could sleep a bit more in the car.
The second unexpected thing was the idea he came up with that we could stop on one beach when I finished my work and sunbathe (or bathe in the sea as well) a bit. Such a plan couldn't be refused either.
When we arrived here, we saw a woman taking a photo of something small on the ground. Sometimes people act in a weird way (this is what the majority would say). But we can approach the situation from a different angle - maybe they are just bloggers, curious, scientists or whatever, so they take photos of ordinary stuff and those that are interesting to them. So, no big deal indeed, everyone should have the freedom to do whatever they want in public spaces, if it doesn't infringe the peace and integrity of anyone in the surroundings, whether people, animals, plants, or rocks.

We didn't pay a lot of attention in the first instance, though when we were already leaving after our beach time, I stopped too to see the surprise.
Painted rocks! once again, to be read with a voice full of excitement!
How cool.
And this time it was not I who wrote on them. True, I wrote on some tiny pebbles yesterday, but a different thing and those are at home.

So, who could write these words on this rock? Maybe a child, or a young teenager, as some words indicate, like photo, or selfie, things they like to do. These are just my assumptions. I will translate the words into English, so you can draw your conclusions as you wish.
The title is: Retos - Challenges.
And the words in the order as they appear are:
Step
Touch
Jump
Photo
Selfie
Dive
Bathe
All in all, these are not some bad suggestions, oh sorry, not bad challenges. I did some of them anyway, but before even reading the content of this rock.

Next to the "challenge rock", there was a red heart with a stylish haircut. It is waiting for its owner to find it.

The unexpected findings don't finish here, as the "love" and "challenge" rocks were not the only ones we saw. On the wooden ramp which leads to the parking lot, someone (probably the same person or someone of a similar age) left two messages.
Hazte una foto conmigo (Take a picture with me) and Si te llamas Mar, ignΓ³rame. (If your name is Mar, ignore me.) There was a little typo in the purple writing, one surplus letter. Or who knows, maybe the messenger wanted to say something else, and I interpreted the word in this way. π
In any case, now I could repeat the phrase from the beginning of this post. We came here unexpectedly, we found these rocks also unexpectedly, so I think the day can continue as expected and normal to balance out the surprises. π
