For most local but also for the majority of foreign visitors,the island of Tinos is not well explored.
It is an amazing island in the middle of the Aegean Sea with around 9000 people living there
And that is because people usually make a one day trip to the island in order to fulfill a promise they once gave if God helps them in difficult situations.
So Tinos is mainly known for it s church Lady of Tinos
!
That of course is the one side of the island
This is the view of the beautiful port during the sunset
The other side is this..
Local stores for all tastes.either to have a nice dinner with traditional foods or maybe to buy gifts and souvenirs 
There is art all over the island
Or you could go and visit the little villages all over the island and enjoy the greek hospitality
And of course ...its amazing beaches.personally i left the island and i m still wondering which one is better.even now !
So if you decide that your next destination is Tinos just make sure to stay there a couple more days than you planned...because you be amazazed
