Pineapple pie

Ingredients (10 people)

  • 80 gr. of butter
  • 6 Tbs. of sugar
  • 1 Tin of pineapple in syrup
  • 2 Cups of rising flour
  • 1 Cd. of baking powder
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 3 Tbs. of oil
  • 1 cup of pineapple juice
  • 1 Cdta. vanilla
  • 3 Cuevos
  • 5 red cherries chopped in half
  • Utensil: A mold for desmoldable cakes

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 ° F.
Melt the butter in the cake pan. Add the 6 tablespoons of sugar and a little of the pineapple syrup. Let brown the sirop and place the pineapple slices in the bottom of the mold to brown a little. Remove from the fire.
Apart, prepare the cake. Beat the eggs and add the brown sugar and the oil until it is creamy. Mix the flour with the baking powder without stirring too much. Add the vanilla. Once the mixture is homogenous, pour into the mold, on top of the pineapples.
Bake for half an hour or until it is golden and when you put a knife comes clean. Garnish with red cherries chopped in half that are distributed on the surface of the cake.
