It is 9:20 p.m. on Friday, March 14 at the time I am writing this post. I don't know when I will be able to publish it because I don't have internet connection, but at some point it will be.
I was very excited doing a creative experiment to share in this community and in the middle of my euphoria, a power outage interrupted my work. It was a weird outage, the lights began to dim and brighten. We ran around the house turning off and unplugging everything in the hope that nothing had been damaged.
We looked out the terrace window and looked as far as our eyesight could reach....all in complete darkness!!!! We live on a 5th floor and in a high geographic area with respect to other places in Havana, so the darkness was a bad omen...
...it's serious, we said in chorus.
Frustrated and worried I put aside the project I was doing, but it occurred to me to do something quick and appropriate to the situation.
9:42- I went and dug through my bag of rocks to find one that fit the idea.
9:56- By the light of an emergency lamp I began to draw on its surface. I covered everything with a layer of black acrylic paint (pure representation of reality š¤Ŗ)
10:02- I'm waiting for the back of the rock to dry before painting the front.
10:32- Already painted the front leaving only a reserved area in the center...just now I see I have connection. Hopefully and it lasts until I finish this post š¬.
11:05- Finished my rock, sorry for the flaws, but the intensity of the lamp did not help to paint the details...this rock does not carry much kindness, but a lot of hope!!!!
PS: A few minutes ago our suspicion was ratified.....it's serious!!!. The National Electric Company has just informed that the National Electric System has been disconnected, let's hope that it will be restored as soon as possible. The rock carries a lot of hope....but it doesn't enlighten š. I laugh for not crying š¤£.
I'm going to try to publish I have only 20% of charge left š¤
