It looks like it's going to be a little uncomfortable again — at least if you can trust the weather forecast. Apparently, over here winter is planning to strike hard at the beginning of next week, bringing with it a whole lot of snow.
Friday and Saturday seem to be the calm before the storm, when even the sun is expected to come out again. Before things really get going on Sunday.
Well, we'll just have to wait and see. Above all, it's not yet clear where it will actually snow. Usually it's the mountains, but there are often some heavy snowfalls on the coast in northwestern Japan as well. On the one hand, that's quite exciting and can lead to many beautiful encounters. But on the other hand, as a driver, I really don't need that much snow. That's why I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be as bad as predicted.
And I've heard that it's going to be really wintry in eastern Germany over the next few days too. It's been super cold there for a few days now, with temperatures below freezing, but apparently it's going to actually snow now. There's talk of 10 to 20 centimeters of fresh snow, which is quite a lot for this region.
Even if it doesn't end up being quite as white, it will definitely stay cold, with temperatures locally dropping to -15 or -20 degrees.
Let's see what it looks like here and there at the beginning of next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us that we get through the snowstorms unscathed!

Es wird wohl mal wieder ungemütlich - zumindest wenn man der Wettervorhersage vertrauen kann. Angeblich hat der Winter nämlich vor, zum Beginn der kommenden Woche groß zuzuschlagen, wobei er wohl eine ganze Menge Schnee mitbringen will.
Der Freitag und der Samstag sind deshalb wohl die sogenannte Ruhe vor dem Sturm, denn wo sich sogar die Sonne noch einmal zeigen soll. Bevor es dann am Sonntag so richtig los geht.
Nun ja, wir müssen das Ganze wohl erst mal abwarten. Vor allem ist ja noch nicht klar, wo es denn letztendlich so richtig schneien wird. Meist sind ja die Berge dran, aber immer wieder gibt es auch an der Küste im Nordwesten Japans superheftige Schneefälle. Auf der einen Seite ist das zwar recht aufregend und kann zu wunderschönen Situationen führen, aber auf der anderen Seite kann ich als Autofahrer soviel Schnee einfach nicht gebrauchen. Deshalb drücke ich uns auch die Daumen, dass es am Ende nicht ganz so schlimm wird, wie vorhergesagt.
Und wie ich gehört habe, soll es auch im Osten Deutschland in den nächsten Tagen so richtig winterlich werden. Es ist ja seit einigen Tagen schon super kalt mit Minusgraden, aber angeblich soll es jetzt sogar richtig schneien. Man flüstert von 10 bis 20 Zentimetern Neuschnee, was für diese Region eine ganze Menge ist.
Auch wenn es am Ende vielleicht nicht ganz so weiß wird, es wird auf jeden Fall kalt bleiben, wobei die Temperaturen örtlich bis auf -15 oder -20 Grad fallen könnten.
Schauen wir mal, wie es hier und dort am Anfang der nächsten Woche aussehen wird. Ich drücke uns allen die Daumen, dass wir gut durch die kommen den Schneestürme kommen!
