DIY on how I made beautiful shirt and short for my sister in-law son

Good day creative friends and needlework community, how are you all doing and how is your families happy weekend to you all, I wish you all a blessed weekend ahead .

Today I will love to share the lovely shirt and short I made for the twin I posted in my last post that I will be sharing the male outfit and I promise to show you all the pictures of the my beautiful and lovely sister in-law kids in the outfits I made for them has gift they look so adorable and beautiful 🤩😻.

I will love to share with you all the cutting and sewing step of the shirt and short .

Firstly I cut out the shirt first because I’m not sure it will be enough for the trouser, I measured the length of the the shirt to be 18” plus sewing allowance then i measured the armhole and cut out the neckline to be 2” by 2 and half “ length then I folded 2” for the buttons allowance.

After cutting the main bodices I cut out the sleeve then I folded the remaining material for the short .

After cutting the short and shirt I join then together then I iron it well and I do notice there is back cover in most of male shirt then I cut it out and fixed the collar of the neck and the outfit came out beautiful 😍.

Final look

The look so cute with the outfit and they was so happy when they wore the dresses 😁.
