Hello creative Friends and needlework community how are you all doing today and how is your families I hope we all enjoyed Easter celebration, happy Easter to you all.ππ€π
Today I will love to share this beautiful tutorial on how I made this beautiful and elegant blouse for my self to celebrate Easter and it has a petal sleeve or tulip sleeve this is my first time of making this sleeve although I watch the cutting and sewing step from the internet and I decided to try myself so I firstly drafted the sleeve on a paper.
I firstly cut the sleeve on paper so as to be sure if I got it well but thanks to the drafting first it help to manage my fabrics I measured my sleeve length to be 14β because I donβt want it to be long then I measured circumference of the sleeve I folded it to two then I measured the mid point where the curve will start from then I measured 4β in from the center then I open it up the I measured 3β from center to side at the armhole then i slant it and cut it out then i kept the big piece of the sleeve and cut on fabric in four places .
After cutting the sleeve I cut out the blouse and the breast curve the I cut out the breast pad and the lining then I also added gum stain to the sleeve to give it a structure .
The sewing step was neatly done and iron and I was so happy that the result came out the way I wanted it πππ.
Please drop your comment hope I try with the first attempt βΊοΈAnd Iβm thinking of the kind of sket that will go well with blouse or wrapper ? I will update you all in my next post the full dress.
