Greetings to needlework and my creative’s friends on hive how are we all doing I hope we are enjoying the mid week .
Creativity’s is our major work in this community and I’m always happy to share my skills here every time because I got words of encouragement and support from you all I really appreciate that.
Today I will love to share with you all how I made this beautiful gown for my sister in-law .
For now I don’t have customer cloth with me and that is the reason why my sister in-law is enjoying my free time some of her material with me I’m just working on it one after the other to kill the boring moments .
I was thinking of the style to make for her with this material before I come up with this, the material is not beautiful to me 😂 so I felt a little bit down but I think with this kimono gown with collar and loop at the waist it came beautiful 🤩.
I folded the material into four then I measure the shoulder to sleeve length to be 20” then I measured from shoulder to waistline 18” then I cut out 2” for the collar I use the black material I use to sow sket for her before and the collar give the gown a unique look 👀
After sewing I iron it and the material came out beautiful I was so surprised 😮 that the ugly material bring out my skill .
